Antiwrinkle is a neurotoxin which blocks signals from the nerves to the injected muscles, preventing them from contracting and thus preventing or reducing fine lines and wrinkles. Effects of anti wrinkle treatment begin within 3-4 days, take full effect in 2 weeks, and generally last 3-4 months. There is little to no downtime with anti wrinkle treatments, minimal pain, and treatment is very quick.

Dermal filler is a product made up of hyaluronic acid which is a substance found naturally in our body. It can be injected to replace volume which is lost as part of the ageing process, or to create volume and structure to certain areas of the face. The product is hydrophilic meaning it attracts water, therefore also creating hydration in the skin. Results can be seen immediately, and depending on the product used, can last 6 months to 2 years. Pain varies depending on the area being treated, but topical local anaesthetic is used and the product itself also contains local anaesthetic. Local swelling and bruising are common in the first few days post treatment.
